A book about growing up in the 1930s

Patricia Anne Forseth and two of her friends, Alvida Merriman and Annie Jaeger, have written a book called Holes in Our Shoes. They grew up during "The Great Depression" of the 1930s. The book is a collection of stories about living and surviving that time, told with humor and fondness. It is wonderfully written and will make you laugh out loud. Folks who also lived through it, will recognize themselves in its pages. It is a great gift too. The picture on the cover is Patricia, age 5.
